It’s hard to say whether March came in like a lion or a lamb—we were simply too busy to notice the weather. From beginning to end, the month was filled with constant movement, powerful services, and moments we won’t soon forget.
🌍✨ Missions & Ministry Moments We kicked off the month with Missionary Heather Meyer, who shared about her recent trip to Cambodia. She has a beautiful way of taking you along on the journey with her, recounting every miraculous moment and giving us a glimpse into the lives of the people she meets. Through her testimony, we were reminded of the importance of missions and the power of God moving across the world, saving souls and changing lives. That same evening, we were honored to host Grammy-nominated artist Jonathan Bond, who ministered in both song and word. It was a powerful time in the presence of the Lord.
📖🔥 A Day of Powerful Preaching The following week, we welcomed our General Overseer, Bishop Tim Bartee, who preached in both the morning and evening services. He began the day with a message centered around new beginnings, reminding us that the number 8 represents exactly that. He closed the evening with a powerful question: Whose report are you going to believe? Challenging us to stand firm in the truth that Jesus is risen—and that His resurrection power is still changing lives today.
⏳✨ A Call to Be Ready & Growing Voices in Ministry Later in the month, Pastor Don revisited a message titled “Suddenly” on the 38th anniversary of giving his life to Christ. Building on recent Sunday school teachings about how today’s headlines are aligning with biblical prophecy, he reminded us that while life’s unexpected moments—both good and bad—can come suddenly, preparation must come first. We must be ready before those moments arrive.
Our youngest minister, Maelyn Gregory, delivered a powerful message titled “Wait.” She encouraged us to walk in obedience, align ourselves with God’s Word and His will, invest in what God has called us to do, and trust fully in His plan.
Rev. Taylor Jimenez Walker also brought a strong and faith-filled word, reminding us that a heart truly in love with God will begin to see great things. She declared that we are going to witness miracles with our own eyes—miracles that won’t need confirmation from doctors or reports, but will be undeniable works of God. That Sunday morning, God used many of the young women in our church to speak and minister, and it was evident that the Spirit spoken of in the book of Book of Joel is moving in our midst.
⚔️🔥 Youth on Fire Our youth ministry also had a powerful experience this month. Associate Pastor Danny Hutchens and Sister Jennifer Hutchens took a large group to Warrior Fest at Omega Center International. What took place there was nothing short of extraordinary. Our young people experienced healing, were baptized in the Holy Ghost, and encountered the presence of God in life-changing ways. The testimonies alone could fill a book. It was truly a mountaintop moment that left a lasting impact on every one of them.
🌿💜 A Special Celebration & "Here is your Sign" We closed out the month with Palm Sunday, which also marked a very special occasion—1st Lady Virginia’s 70th birthday. Knowing her love for the color purple, the church made sure it was beautifully displayed everywhere. She was also blessed to have her son Denver and his wife join her for the celebration, making it a truly meaningful day.
To finish the month, Sister Wendy Purdin returned to the pulpit with a message titled “Here Is Your Sign.” She reminded us that just as there were signs pointing to Jesus’ first coming—and even signs surrounding His death and resurrection—many still failed to recognize them. Now, as we live on the edge of His return, the signs are all around us. The question remains: are we paying attention?
🌱✨ Looking Ahead Prayer and fasting have continued to be a major focus for our church in recent months. It did not end with the first 21 days—we have been encouraged to continue pressing in until we see the miraculous take place, even believing for the paralyzed to walk again. As Pastor often reminds us, there is no time wasted when we interrupt everything to stop and pray.
As we look ahead, we remain expectant.
Until next time—we are praying, believing, and expecting miracles.
