“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…” — 1 Timothy 6:12
🎆 Freedom Sunday
Special Guests: The Freemans
July began with Freedom Sunday, and our sanctuary rang with the sounds of worship led by The Freemans. Pastor shared a personal story of how, in his early walk with the Lord, a Freemans tape played so often it wore out!
He reminded us from Ephesians 6:10 that we are in a spiritual battle that can only be won by standing strong in the Lord’s power and strength.

👨👩👧👦 Generations Sunday – July 13th
A Legacy of Faithfulness
Generations Sunday is a beloved tradition—a time to honor the elders and builders who shaped our church.
Video Tribute: Media Minister Sister Kayla Purdin captured the history and growth of our church in a moving presentation.
Youth-Led Worship: The youth praise team filled the sanctuary with vibrant praise.
Message of Legacy: Sisters Maelyn Gregory and Jocelynn Newell teamed up with Pastor Don, delivering a multi-part message: Born with a Purpose → Step Up Now → Be Found Faithful.
Plaques were presented to our faithful elders, honoring their decades of service. Minister Jeremiah Purdin, himself a product of generations of service to the Lord, closed the evening with a reminder:
“Praise is the key to the throne room.”
🎯 Annual Men’s Clay Shoot & Picnic – July 19th
Faith, Fellowship, and Fun
Fathers taught their sons to aim and hit the mark, laughter echoed across the field, and friendships were strengthened. Our men’s clay shoot is more than a summer tradition—it’s a time of mentoring and connection.
🎵 Faithfulness & Worship – July 20th & 23rd
Reverend Taylor Jimenez brought a powerful word on the great faithfulness of God.
Just days later, we welcomed the Imani Milele Children’s Choir from Uganda, Africa—friends of our church since 2013. Their worship was heartfelt and Spirit-filled. They shared how members from the 2013 choir have gone on to become teachers, business leaders, and doctors—living proof of God’s transforming work.

🙏 Pastor Appreciation Sunday – July 27th
Honoring Our Shepherds
We closed the month with Pastor Appreciation Sunday, kicking off General Assembly week. Bishop Campbell, Jamaican overseer, encouraged us to “keep moving forward, no matter what.” His evening message—Obtaining Our Victories—reminded us that God’s divine plan will come to pass in our lives.
We are truly blessed to be led by Pastor Don White and Pastor Danny Hutchens, who faithfully shepherd our church family.
Closing Thought
“Till we blink and another month has passed, let us stay steadfast and strong—fighting the good fight of faith.”
